Latinx Voces The Latinx Voces team is made up of creative Latinx thinkers and leaders around the country, from California to Washington, D.C.

Latinx Voces' mission is to empower Latino communities, address health trends and social inequities through storytelling, education, and collaboration and advocate for health equity while celebrating Latino cultures. We will be providing services and workshops related to our list of expertise to the community soon. These moments are from our April storytelling workshop- a reminder that community voice, lived experience, and storytelling are at the heart of everything we’re building. (Which was amazing btw!)🥳😎🐺

Last year’s VOCES Health Summit created space for learning, connection, and culturally grounded dialogue around health, culture, and community- but the Summit was NEVER meant to be a one-day moment.

Since then, Latinx Voces has continued building year-round spaces for community health education, professional training, storytelling, and partnership.

May was a busy one 🌟

We kicked off the month with a Family Forum on Mental Health in partnership with Methodist Healthcare Ministries. Midway through the month, we held our third SCI workshop before heading to the City of Brownsville’s Mental Health Awareness Proclamation event later that same day. 💚

Throughout the month, we connected with partners, stopped by local coffee shops, had meaningful conversations, and continued building relationships across the community. We also managed to capture some great group photos along the way 📸

We’re grateful for every opportunity to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the connections that help move our work forward. Here’s a quick look back at May!
