At CX CARES, our commitment doesn’t end when the work is done.

When we put our hearts and hard work into a school, we don’t simply take a few pictures and leave. We follow up. We stay connected. We care.

And we continue to support the schools and communities we’ve had the privilege of serving.

We’re so proud to share this beautiful recent update from Escuela Básica Yonu in Miches, Dominican Republic, shared by Laura Cordero, our Amstar liaison.

After painting the school and helping install a new roof during Xcite last fall, CX CARES returned with even more support.

All 30 students received school supplies, backpacks, and shoes. And the school also received a brand-new refrigerator with a freezer.

There’s still more work to be done, including the installation of a new water tank, but we’ll continue to follow the progress and support this school however we can.

Because this is what CX CARES is all about.

We don’t just visit communities.

We build relationships. We follow through. And we care about their future.

This is our continued commitment to Escuela Básica Yonu, and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of their journey.

💙 Shrewsbury Logwood School Update 🇯🇲

We wanted to share an update on our efforts to reopen Shrewsbury Logwood Early Childhood School.

The good news is that together we brought so much attention to this little school and its importance to the community that the Jamaican government stepped in and agreed to contract out some of the remaining work to help our efforts. 🙏

Unfortunately, a change in local government during the process has created some red tape and uncertainty around which projects will be completed by the government and which we can move forward with ourselves. Sadly, this means the school will not be able to reopen for this school year, which has been incredibly frustrating for everyone involved, especially the community.

But we aren't sitting still. 💙

In the meantime, we are working toward opening the school as a community learning center, where children can receive tutoring and educational support, older students can get help with college applications, and local teachers who have generously offered their time can volunteer.

Our goal hasn't changed. We will continue doing everything we can to support this wonderful community and help get Shrewsbury Logwood back where it belongs: filled with children learning, growing and dreaming again. 🇯🇲❤️

✨ Making a Difference, One Family at a Time. ❤️📚

At CX CARES, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting impact.

We're grateful to have provided $150 to CTC Tutoring Services to help distribute care packages throughout Westmoreland, Jamaica, to underprivileged students and their families who were severely impacted by Tropical Storm Melissa. 🌧️💙

These care packages provided much-needed support during a difficult time, reminding families that they are not alone and that people around the world care.
