Yup, that is a Rutan design! This Solitaire is one of only two airworthy examples in the world, and it's flying thanks to the Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience (RAFE).

Yep, Thats our plane! And what a gorgeous plane she is!

Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience Open House is happening now!! Great turn out and it's still morning. Our cool Rutan designs are on display including the only Rutan Solitaire left flying, which was just featured in the May issue of Sport Aviation magazine! Lunch is on! Come enjoy the best burgers you'll ever have at a hangar fly-in! Weathers clearing up. Fly in or drive in! We're at Ellington airport (KEFD). See ya here!!
