Heads up! If you plan on dropping off donations for the costume closet cart, we kindly ask to do so by tomorrow. A majority of items are organized and ready to go for Saturday but we will need time to get any last minute donations organized and set up 🥰

💛 A little reminder about The Kindness Cart 💛

Lately, with pet food becoming a bigger part of the cart, I’ve received several messages about people having less-than-kind experiences.

I completely understand the fear of not knowing how you’ll feed your pets. When it comes to our furbabies, we can be fierce. 🐾 But remember, the person standing next to you may be carrying that same fear.

If you are getting pet food and see someone else waiting, please leave a handful behind. If someone grabs something before you, please don't assume you know their situation and see them as greedy.

Take what you need. Leave some for your neighbor. Be kind. 💛

And if the cart doesn't have everything you need, don't panic! I'm working on a little Kindness Map with local resources, and the pet-help section is already coming together with several places to turn to for help. 🐾

1:45pm CAT FOOD IS GONE

The cart will be out for a few hours today 10/8/26, while supplies last. Mostly dog food today with a handful of cat goodies.

3:30pm update: cart only has a few odds and ends. Will bring in around 4pm
12:30pm update: canned pet food, ice packs and most food is gone but a kind stranger restocked with bread!

The cart will be out for a few hours today 10/7/26, while supplies last. A handful of pantry items, canned pet food, adult size L diapers, ice packs and some similac soy ready to use portions!
