🏕️ A Weekend of Honor, Service & Brotherhood 🦅

This weekend, six of our Scouts and two leaders from Troop 319 are embarking on a very special journey with the Order of the Arrow (OA).

The Order of the Arrow is Scouting’s national honor society, recognizing Scouts who demonstrate outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to the Scout Oath and Law. Membership is a significant honor and a reflection of the respect and trust their fellow Scouts place in them.

This weekend is about more than recognition. It’s about serving others, leading by example, building character, and putting the needs of others before yourself. ❤️

Please keep our six Scouts and two leaders in your prayers throughout this weekend. Pray for strength, guidance, fellowship, and that they continue to serve others through their actions, leadership, and example.

We are incredibly proud of each of you. Embrace the experience, support one another, and remember that true leadership is shown through service.

🏕️🌊 Troop 319 has officially taken over Kelleys Island! 🏝️⚜️

We’re spending the weekend camping, exploring, hiking, fishing, and making the most of this beautiful Ohio island! From exploring the incredible Glacial Grooves 🪨 to hiking along the coastline, casting some fishing lines 🎣, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing plenty of laughs around camp—we’re having an amazing time!

These are the adventures that make Scouting so special: getting outside, trying new things, building friendships, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️⚜️

So much fun, so many adventures, and definitely some stories to bring home! 🏕️🎣🌅

🇺🇸 September 11 — We Remember.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, military members, volunteers, and ordinary Americans who stepped forward to help others in a time of unimaginable tragedy.

As Scouts, we are taught to do our duty, help other people at all times, and be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, brave, and reverent. September 11 reminds us that these aren't simply words we recite—they are values we carry into our communities and put into action.

May we remember not only what happened, but the incredible courage, compassion, and unity that followed.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July! Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate more than fireworks and backyard barbecues—we celebrate 250 years of freedom, resilience, and the American spirit.

On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted, forever changing the course of history and marking the birth of a nation founded on the belief that all people are created equal and are endowed with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

For a quarter of a millennium, generations of Americans have served, sacrificed, and worked to preserve those ideals. While our nation has faced challenges along the way, the story of America has always been one of hope, perseverance, and the belief that together we can build a better future.

As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, may we honor those who came before us, appreciate the freedoms we enjoy today, and inspire the next generation to carry forward the values that have united our nation for 250 years.

From sea to shining sea, Happy Independence Day! May God bless you, your family, and the United States of America.

🏕️⚜️ Today is the day!

Our Scouts are heading to Seven Ranges Summer Camp for a week filled with adventure, learning, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Over the next seven days, they'll challenge themselves with new merit badges, outdoor skills, waterfront activities, campfires, hikes, and countless opportunities to grow as leaders. Summer camp is one of the highlights of the Scouting year—a chance for Scouts to build confidence, develop independence, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood that make Scouting so special.

As they pack up and head out, we're excited to see them embrace new experiences, step outside their comfort zones, and create stories they'll be telling for years to come.

We wish all of our Scouts and leaders a safe, fun, and unforgettable week at Seven Ranges. Thank you to the parents, volunteers, and leaders who make these opportunities possible.

With Flag Day approaching on June 14th, now is a great time to check the condition of your American flags.

If you have flags that are worn, faded, torn, or no longer suitable for display, our troop would be honored to help ensure they are retired with the dignity and respect they deserve. The American flag is a symbol of our nation's history, freedoms, and the sacrifices made by so many, and proper retirement is an important tradition that reflects that respect.

If you have a flag that needs to be retired, please send us a message. We would be happy to collect it and ensure it is retired through a respectful flag retirement ceremony in accordance with established traditions.

As we prepare to celebrate Flag Day, help us honor Old Glory by ensuring unserviceable flags are retired properly.
