I am urgently raising concern about a school bus operating in Brooklyn, New York that is endangering children's lives and public safety. This bus has been observed illegally crossing the highway divider on Atlantic Avenue and entering oncoming traffic. This reckless and unlawful action not only violates traffic laws but also places the lives of the children on board—and all nearby motorists and pedestrians—at serious risk.

The potential for a tragic accident is extremely high. A school bus carrying vulnerable young passengers should be the last vehicle engaging in dangerous maneuvers that could result in catastrophic injury or death. Immediate investigation and intervention are necessary to prevent a foreseeable and preventable disaster.

The safety of our children must never be compromised. I urge the appropriate authorities to act swiftly to identify the bus and driver involved, enforce all relevant traffic laws, and implement measures to ensure this does not happen again.
