ELDER BROTHER OF LATE MC ADENIKE ODUKOYA RECOUNTS FAMILY’S CONCERNS AND SHOCK OVER COUPLE’S DEATHS

The elder brother of the late Adenike has expressed profound grief and shock following the tragic deaths of his younger sister and her husband, Olusho Abidemi, on August 31, 2026.

According to him, Adenike had previously raised concerns with members of the family regarding difficulties in her marriage. He explained that although the family was aware of some of these challenges, they remained hopeful that the situation would improve.

“My younger sister had always complained about Olusho Abidemi, but we believed things would eventually change. I was personally the chairman of the occasion at their wedding,” he recalled.

He described Abidemi as someone who had initially been responsible and maintained a relationship with the family, but said his behaviour subsequently changed.

According to the bereaved brother, Abidemi had not communicated with members of Adenike’s family, including their elderly mother, for more than a year. He attributed the breakdown in communication to the family’s disapproval of what they considered troubling behaviour and their concerns about how Adenike was allegedly being treated in the marriage.

The family’s concerns, he said, turned into devastation when they received news on the morning of August 31, 2026, that Adenike had died.

He stated that family members immediately proceeded to the couple’s residence following the disturbing news. At that stage, despite their grief and the circumstances surrounding Adenike’s death, he said the family was prepared to seek answers and ultimately consider forgiveness.

However, the situation became even more distressing when they subsequently learned that Abidemi had also died.

“I honestly do not know what happened to him or what could have led to such a tragic situation,” the elder brother said.

He further expressed serious concern about how the devastating news would be communicated to their elderly mother, fearing the emotional impact of learning that her daughter had died.

The account reflects the anguish of a family confronted with the sudden loss of two lives under deeply distressing circumstances.

What would the family done to help protect their sister and prevent such ugly incident?

AMSE OLAITAN BALOGUN CALLED TO ETERNAL GLORY

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.” — Psalm 116:15

With profound sorrow, yet in total submission to the sovereign will of Almighty God, the Celestial Church of Christ, USA National Diocese, announces the sudden passing unto eternal glory of our beloved father, leader and servant of God, AMSE Olaitan Balogun, JP, MPIC, Head of Diocese, CCC USA National Diocese.

AMSE Olaitan Balogun peacefully slept in the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in Nigeria.

His passing is a profound loss to his immediate family, his parish, the CCC USA National Diocese, and the entire Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. We mourn the departure of a devoted servant of God whose leadership, service and commitment to the Church will remain deeply remembered.

We pray that Almighty God grants our departed father eternal rest and receives his soul into His everlasting peace.

May the Lord also strengthen and comfort his family, loved ones, parishioners, members of the USA National Diocese, and the entire Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, granting everyone the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may light perpetual shine upon him. Amen.

LAWYER OPANUGA REPLY VSE TOSHO OSHOFFA ABOUT THE CCC UNIFICATION THAT FORMER PRESIDENT OF BENIN REPUBLIC PATRICK TALON IS INVOLVED IN.

Only the truth shall prevail in Celestial Church of Christ.....VSE Olatosho. It is unfortunate that the household of our Pastor Founder is experiencing what is being witnessed now.

President Talon seeing the way our God given Church is drifting and having heard the glorious
period of the church of the church decided that the church in his territory must unite as it was during the lifetime of their Founder. Now the opposition to that is from what VSE Olatosho Oschoffa is doing now. They want the Benin Republic Church to continue the Laze fair attitude that is ruminating the b church in Nigeria to continue without any control at all.

This is because they ate enjoying the disunity of the church in Nigeria since they are benefitting from it to the detriment of the church in Nigeria and in the world. They don't know that the disunity of the church in Nigeria is to the detriment of the future of the church worldwide.

This had been realized in the Republic of Benin where the church was started by God and to the Glory of God that President Talon woke up the sleeping lion. Thanks be to God that all that were done over there started in the presence and participation of EMF Oschoffa as well as VSE Olatosho Oschoffa who all participated in it for eleven months before withdrawal towards the conclusion.

It is however not surprising because it was a repeat of what happened to the constitution drafting committee of Nigeria the 33 members in which Major General Opaleye of blessed memory was appointed as chairman by the EMF Oschoffa group and the three factions contributed money to facilitate the smooth operations of the committee and the committee sat for one year and one month in makoko national headquarters and produced another constitution to the registered but upon handing over the constution was sat upon till today.

The early support had been withdrawn. However after ten years another judgement from Ilaro high court woke up the church and again the committee was Asked to start sitting again but thereafter upon securing a stay of ex*****on of the judgement the constitution did not see the light of day.

They are enjoying and benefitting from the disunity of the church to the detriment of the future of the church. But one day the truth will prevail over lies and deceit and the Gate of hell shall not prevail over the church of God. Amen.

ADDENDUM TO EVANG. OPANUGA'S POSITION ON VSE TOSHO OSHOFFA:

In addition to the submission of Evang. Opanuga, I can confirm that even when the Court of Justice Philips (former Chief Judge of Lagos State) referred the dispute of CCC before her court to Mediation, the Mediator Judge (Justice Candid-Johnson (rtd) sat with all the concerned factions of the CCC at the Lagos Multi Door Court House (LMDC), Igbosere, Lagos for close to eight (8) hours, attempting to resolve the dispute regarding leadership/disunity in the Church. The Mediator came out with some solutions, agreeable to all, for implementations.

However, before the commencement of the mediation, the judge first resolved the issue of "mandate". All Pastors were invited (because they were all sued including Owodunni & Maforikan) and those not physically present were represented. The lawyers to EMF group confimed they had his
Mandate to participate in the mediation. The understanding was that the decisions arrived at would be binding on every stakeholders in order to move the Church forward and all the Stakeholders signed including EMF legal Counsel.

At the end of the proceedings, the resolutions were typed and signed by everyone including the representatives of the Unification Group that filed the suit (Evang. Perter Zinzu and my humble self). The Mediator, as a matter of procedure, sent his report to the Chief Judge for adoption.

The case was subsequently fixed for adoption of the Settlement Terms before Justice Philipps, the Chief Judge who set up the Mediation Panel. However, before the adoption could be done, the EMF Group filed an application to set aside all the settlement recomnendations, alleging that their Counsel who attended the Mediation Panel did not have their mandate to commit their own Pastor to the settlement arrangement. That step by Ketu/EMF Group was what ended that Unity/Peace initiative.

Therefore, the latest effort from Benin Republic must be supported by all and sundry who believe in the God of Celestial Church and His ability to engender peace and unity in His Church, howðsoever He chooses to get it done.

It is beginning to look like the Ketu/EMF axis are always too eager to thwart unification effort that does not align with their parochial agenda, no matter how spiritually inclined that effort may be. After all, they are making huge resources from annointments both locally and externally, forgetting that the mission of our Pastor Founder, SBJ Oshoffa was not to come to tge world to set up a "business centre" but to bring humanity closer to God!.

History has shown that the influence of money and the greed for power has been the twin major challenges militating against the Ketu/EMF power block, right from the Rev. Bada era, which fact led to the division between the Nigeria Diocese and Benin Diocese of the Church, even before the emergence of EMF in the picture.

Isn't it high time we changed the narrative?

Brother, I appreciate the fact that you came out to apologise.

However, I believe there is a deeper issue that needs to be addressed, not just the fact that you posted traditional worship materials while wearing the CCC garment.

If you identify as a Christian and a member of the Celestial Church of Christ, the important question is not only whether you should post such things while wearing the garment. The bigger question is whether the practice itself is consistent with your faith and commitment to Christ.

Removing the garment does not automatically make the practice right.

Brother, please examine these things sincerely in the light of Scripture. Let your decision be guided not by social media pressure, but by your conviction and commitment to Christ.

Jesus calls us to follow Him wholeheartedly, not to divide our allegiance. Joshua said in the book of Joshua 24:15: “Choose you this day whom ye will serve.”

And Elijah asked: “How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.” (1 Kings 18:21).

Christianity is not merely about the garment; it is about belonging to Christ and remaining faithful to Him.

May the Lord give you grace to examine all things in the light of His Word and to follow Him sincerely and completely.

Evang. Wale Ajayi.

Not Every Problem Is Caused by Witches and Wizards

CCC is a spiritual church, just as other Christian denominations believe in prayer, miracles and divine intervention. The same God worshipped by Catholics, Redeemed Christians, C&S members, CAC members and Celestians is the God Christians believe worked through Moses Orimolade, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola and Saint S.B.J. Oshoffa.

However, not every sickness, death, accident, failed marriage, mental-health crisis or personal setback should automatically be attributed to witches, wizards or spiritual attacks.

Nigeria's serious maternal-mortality problem, for example, should direct attention toward inadequate healthcare, emergency obstetric services and access to skilled medical professionals.

Cancer requires early diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Depression and suicidal thoughts may require professional mental-health intervention.

Domestic violence requires protection, counselling and accountability—not merely prophecy and spiritual work.

Likewise, many road deaths are connected to speeding, unsafe roads, poor vehicle maintenance, reckless driving and inadequate emergency response.

Prayer remains important, but prayer should complement responsible action rather than replace it. Christians can pray and still visit hospitals, take prescribed medication, seek professional counselling, wear seat belts and demand safer roads.

Most importantly, citizens should not spiritualise failures of government. Poor roads, inadequate hospitals, unreliable electricity, unemployment, weak education systems and inadequate emergency services are governance and policy problems—not evidence of witchcraft.

The Bible itself demonstrates faith accompanied by action: Noah prayed and built the ark; Joseph trusted God and planned for famine; Nehemiah prayed and rebuilt Jerusalem; and the Good Samaritan cared practically for an injured man.

The Church can therefore become part of the solution by promoting medical screening, mental-health awareness, antenatal care, blood donation, road safety, professional counselling and responsible civic participation.

Though, the bible says in Ephesians 6:12
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

However, note that a corrupt Government is also a principality, an ignorant person is under a self-inflicted principality. A false prophet is equally a principality, while you pray, please buckle up from your spiritual ignorance.

Stop blaming witches and wizards for every problem in your life.

The central message is that Christian faith and spirituality should not prevent believers from recognizing the medical, psychological, social and governmental causes of many problems. We have too many people who needs psychiatric support in the Church, yet they are busy praying, there is nothing prayer cannot do, however;

☆ Pray—but seek medical treatment when necessary. - James 5:14-15

☆ Have faith—but seek professional counselling when necessary.- Proverbs 15:22, Proverbs 13:10

☆ Pray before travelling—but obey road-safety rules.- Psalm 91:11-12

☆ Pray for Nigeria—but demand accountability from government.-Proverbs 21:1

Get your PVC. Study the candidates. Reject incompetence. Vote responsibly and demand good governance.

Not every tragedy is a spiritual attack. Sometimes it is preventable disease, unsafe roads, domestic violence, poverty, institutional failure—or simply bad governance.

Faith does not eliminate responsibility; genuine faith should inspire wisdom and action.
