Over the last three years, StoryTell has gathered New Yorkers to build empathy, belonging, and connection through personal storytelling. This year, we’re collaborating with Sound Mind on a new series that connects our community to the stories and people shaping the fabric of the music world in our city.

There are so many artists, makers, creators, and community catalysts we encounter in our daily lives,. yet we rarely pause to learn their stories. Story in Sound is about slowing down and listening. It’s about connecting the StoryTell community to the humans behind the music; the people who make up the drumbeat of our neighborhoods, and exploring how story and song intertwine.
