Sunday, I presented Craig Gulbranson with a check from the Brookings Pink Ladies. Craig is undergoing chemo for Liver Cancer. He had surgery earlier this spring and had part of his liver removed. He still has another 6 chemo sessions to go. Craig’s faith keeps him strong as he faces this battle head on. You got this Craig. MO ONE FIGHTS ALONE

I had the privilege of of meeting with Candy Devries and presenting her with a check from the Brookings Pink Ladies. Candy was diagnosed with breast cancer in July, she will be having surgery the end of this month. Candy has great support from her husband Todd, son Bentley and many other family members, several who have faced own cancer journeys. You got this Candy. No One Fights Alone

The Brookings Pink Ladies were blessed to meet Cassie Ridgeway and offer financial support as she completes her last procedures for breast cancer.
This active young lady is not sitting on the sidelines as Cassie advocates to everyone she talks to -do your self exams and get mammograms regularly. She found a lump showering after a volleyball game.
Remain strong and know you are not alone!!

Greg Begnaurd was diagnosed with throat cancer in May and has been receiving daily radiation treatments in SF. Despite his own cancer fight, he and wife Tori recently helped at Justus K fundraiser as he believes in giving back. Their journey is still a long one so we were honored to be able to give Greg a check which he plans to use on bills And gas cards for the daily trips. Prayers for all his family please.

Pink Lady Lynda presented Travis Smith with a check. Travis has pancreatic cancer and could use all your good thoughts and prayers. His friend Austin Earley has been a big help to him. No one fights alone

I had the privilege of meeting with Collins Waterbury yesterday, Collin’s was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. Please keep him and his wife Sandi in your prayers. Edit: Our Local Organization has been confirmed! The Pink Ladies Brookings Chapter is our charity partner for this event. They have given funds to over 300 warriors fighting all types of cancer in our community. We are excited to be a vessel for them to help even more!

Yep this pretty much sums up how we Pinks all feel. Brookings ladies started in Sept. 2015. Over 300 donations to local cancer fighting families and over $223,000 given out so far. A dream that is only possible because our community believes in our mission.
Our.next golf tournament is August 15 in White. We are still accepting hole sponsors at $125 each and more teams. Sign up now!!!
