From our first giving day in 2017 to the record-breaking momentum of today, One Day for STATE has become so much more than 24 hours of giving. It’s a celebration of what happens when Jackrabbits come together! A decade later, the impact of can be seen across campus, fueling scholarships, programs, student organizations, athletics, and more — all made possible by Jackrabbits who believe in South Dakota State University and its future. 💙💛

As we get ready for the 10th annual celebration on Sept. 10, take a look back at how it all began, how it’s grown, and the difference thousands of Jackrabbits have made along the way.

Jack’s Journey is back next Wednesday, Sept. 9! Jack will hit the streets at 6 pm, bringing the excitement and energy with him! Go all out with a garage party with your neighbors, or simply step outside and wave to Jack as he makes his way through Brookings. Want to take it up a notch? Fly your Jackrabbit flags, decorate your sidewalks, turn on those yellow and blue lights, and crank up ‘Ring the Bell’!

The Sioux Falls Area Jacks Luncheon series kicks off Tuesday, September 15, with South Dakota State Volleyball Head Coach Dan Georgalas!

Join fellow Jackrabbits for lunch, connection, and the opportunity to hear directly from Coach Georgalas about the season ahead. As an added bonus, Dr. Kevin Kessler ’98, Keith and Glynn Bartels Endowed Director of Athletic Bands, will also share a few remarks.
