Aerozone Alliance

04/04/2026

We’re kicking things off at our sold-out summit this Friday with a focus on both regional growth and global trade compliance.

Hrishue Mahalaha, Executive Director of Aerozone Alliance, will open the day with a look at how Northeast Ohio is building a stronger connection to the global economy through workforce, infrastructure, and regional collaboration. Alongside Mary Jo Schmidt, their work focuses on connecting communities to evolving supply chains and creating long-term regional growth opportunities.

Later in the morning, Michael D. Easton, President of Star USA and a licensed customs broker, will break down how companies can turn Free Trade Agreement compliance into real, measurable value. Michael works directly with businesses ranging from small manufacturers to Fortune 500 companies, helping them navigate complex global trade regulations.

Excited to share this op-ed from our Aerozone Executive Director, Hrishue Mahalaha, in Crain’s Cleveland Business.

He lays out a strong, forward-looking vision for Cleveland — one that’s rooted in innovation, collaboration, and the kind of strategic growth that benefits everyone. Worth a read if you care about where we’re headed and how we get there.
