Bronston Fire was paged to a MVC with injuries with entrapment yesterday (8-26-2026) on Highway 90 and Park Dr at Bronston Post office. On scene fire assisted by Somerset Pulaski County Rescue Squad for extraction and patient care.

On scene assisting was Burnside Police, Somerset/Pulaski County EMS and Somerset Pulaski County Rescue Squad.

Also thanks to Pulaski Co 911 Dispatch for behind the scenes help.

8-20-2026- Chemical Smell in a residents on Sycamore Dr in Bronston Thanks to Somerset/Pulaski County SRT for assisting

8-20-2026- Paged to same Residents for Odor returning found the stove hood fan had got caught in filter and was getting hot and causing oil on fan to odoring off causing the smell. Thanks to SRT for coming to assist again

8-21-2026- Paged to a MVC accident with injuries on Jacksboro Rd Somerset Pulaski County EMS and Pulaski County Sheriff office assisted on scene along with Pulaski County 911 Dispatch

Run Report so far for the month of August 2026. It's been a busy month already. We would like to thank all the our members for thier dedication and hard work. Team work goes a long way and it shows.

With the temperature and humidity it makes it dangerous for firefighter and anyone working outside. Limit outdoor activities and take water breaks often to stay hydrated. It has been a hot and wet summer so far.

8-1-26 paged at assist EMS for a unresponsive patient in the Woodsonbend Area of Bronston.

8-3-26 Paged to assist Coroner's Office in the Echo Point area of Bronston for a lift assist.

8-4-26 Was paged out to a wreck with injuries in the 3000 Block of Hwy 90.

8-4-26 Run away complain assist Law Enforcement to search for a Juvenile runway in the Sunset Dr area.

8-7-26 Paged to assist EMS on a medical run off of 790/90 area

8-13-26 was paged to assist EMS for a lift assist from a fall with injuries in the Waitsboro Area of Bronston.

8-14-26 Paged to a Wreck with injuries on hwy 90 at Cumberland Woodwork area.

8-14-26 Bronston Fire was paged to assist EMS on a lift assist in the Gibson Rd area of Bronston. Due to patient privacy no details released

8-14-26 Paged to assist Ferguson Fire for a residential structure fire in the 500 Block of Hill Rd, but was disregarded while enroute.

At 4:22 AM Bronston Fire was paged to assist EMS in Forrest Ridge Area of Bronston. No detail release due to patient privacy.

Due to a main line break, there is a boil water advisory for Forest Ridge Road, including all side roads. This advisory also includes Sycamore Drive, Sunset Drive and Shaw Lane. Until further notice, boil all water for cooking and drinking for 3 minutes and allow to cool before using. This advisory will remain in effect until lab results show the water to be an acceptable quality. There will not be an update to this advisory until we receive notification from the lab.

Run Report 8-14-2026

This morning Bronston Fire Department was paged for a 2 vehicle MVC with possible entrapment in the 3000 Block of Hwy 90. Fire units arrived on scene and assessed patients for injuries and was determined there was light entrapment/ Door pop was needed. One patient was air lift by Air Methods KY 3 Somerset to UK Hospital and one patient transported by Somerset/Pulaski County EMS to Lake Cumberland Reg. Fire units assisted with Patient Care, setting up Landing Zone for Helicopter, traffic control, and road clean up.

Assisting was, Air Methods KY 3 Somerset, Somerset Pulaski Co Rescue Squad, Pulaski Co Sheriff Office, Pulaski Co 911 Center, Under the Gun Towing service, and Superior Towing Service. Great team work from all involved when thing get hectic.
