Today at the rescue feels a little brighter. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we’ve already raised $600 of our $1,000 goal to help cover much-needed vet care, food, and supplies for the dogs in our care. Every dollar represents hope—a full food bowl, a warm bed, and the medical attention our pups depend on.

We are so grateful to everyone who has donated and to all who have sent love and good wishes for Thor as he continues his recovery. Your support has meant the world to us and to the dogs who rely on this rescue for a second chance.

🐾 Meet JoJo — The Spunky Little Senior With a Big Heart! 🐾

JoJo is a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to us after his beloved senior owner passed away. He may be small, but his personality is huge — and he’s ready to love his next person just as deeply.

JoJo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and currently working on his housebreaking skills. He’s never been walked on a leash, but he’s learning every day! He’s good with other dogs, previously lived with a cat, and does well with older, respectful children. Because he can be timid, he needs a home with older kids or adults only.

This sweet boy LOVES attention. Once JoJo feels safe and at home, he’ll happily bark to remind you it’s time for pets. He’s a true ladies’ man — very much a women’s dog — and will follow his favorite person from room to room like a loyal little shadow. Give him a few days to settle in, and he perks up with the energy of a much younger pup.
