Our latest gift was from Dana, who gave a king size mattress to be given to someone in need of it. She felt led to donate because she wanted to bless someone with the mattress she no longer needed. Well Dana, your mattress was given to someone who very truly needed it! We listed the mattress on craigslist and Stacy contacted us with her story.

Stacy’s home recently caught on fire. She lost everything. Fortunately, no one was injured. She was (and still is) looking for everything a home is supposed to have, but she is starting with the basics- a place to sleep. She needed this mattress so that when she is able to move into her new home, she will have something to sleep on. We feel so fortunate to have brought together Dana and Stacy to fulfill this need.

Stacy is still looking for everything else she will need to furnish her home: a couch, a full-size bed for her daughter, a dining table and chairs, and bedding to fit full and King size mattresses, just for starters. If you are reading this and have things around your home that you feel led to donate to Stacy and her family, please let us know however you can. We will gladly pick it up and deliver it to Stacy. If you want to donate any money- you have no idea how much 20$ will buy. We can find the most amazing things for 20 or 30 dollars. If you can only afford your prayers, this family (and us) will appreciate it!

Stacy is not the only one affected by this fire. This fire was in a duplex home. The family that lived on the other side of the duplex also had to move. Veronica and her family are in need of living room furniture, because theirs was destroyed by the fire. Any way we can help these two families, we will try to do it, and we would like your help.

We will be uploading some photos of Stacy's fire damage, we all need to have her in our prayers, she lost everything in that fire, if you want to donate any furniture or funds to purchase some furniture, please let us know, we go to auctions a couple times a week to look for furniture, and a little money goes further than u would think, thanks for the help
