VFW Auxiliary Post 3357 participated at Relay for Life on Saturday, August 26. Auxiliary President, Gina Norton, Marie Aymee Fisk, and Barbara Skiff participated as Honor Guard.

The VFW Auxiliary Post 3357 needs your help. We are volunteering as a group for the Ironman Lake Placid on July 23rd. Our aid station is across from Lisa G’s at Lamb Lumber. We are the party Zone!! Please consider signing up for one of these theee shifts. If you are able to volunteer please enter VFW Auxiliary Post 3357 as the group name. This will help us earn a grant! Saranac Lake Post 3357 had a busy night last night. Our Auxiliary participated in the Uniting to Combat Hunger grant. We collected 400 lbs of food and received $826 in monetary donations. The food and donations will go to the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry. We also made up 58 Christmas bags (hand lotions, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, word search books, chap sticks, snack crackers, Christmas candy, playing cards, tissues) which will be delivered to veterans residing at four local nursing homes.

Happy Saturday everyone! We want to thank all who have already made a donation to our cause! This is the last weekend to make your food and/or monetary donations to support the Uniting to Combat Hunger campaign and grant to support the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry. Money the VFW Auxiliary Post 3357 is awarded from the matching grant will be used to support other area food pantries in the near future. You can bring your donations to the Veterans Club (202 Broadway) and Romano's Saranac Lanes Sports Bar & Grill this weekend.

Our VFW Auxiliary is proud to take part in the Uniting to Combat Hunger Campaign to benefit the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry starting October 22nd through December 10th!
You may bring your donations to the Veterans Club at 202 Broadway (ring the door bell to be buzzed in), Coakley Home and Hardware Saranac Lake and Romano's Saranac Lanes Sports Bar & Grill. More location to come!
Let's come together as our great little town always does and support the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and Unite to Combat Hunger!
