Today Denise and I are happy to announce our latest foundation scholarship winner Claudia Maguire. Claudia is the daughter of an Ann Arbor Firefighter, and her uncle is an Ann Arbor police officer. Claudia recently enrolled at Schoolcraft Fire Academy.

Robert & Denise Vogel Foundation (R&DVF) will have three $500 scholarships available for an individual taking firefighter academy, EMT, Paramedic, or first responder college classes at any Michigan community college. Applicants cannot be sponsored by a department or agency.

Our latest scholarship winner is Nicole Plowman. Nicole is currently working for Detroit Fire Department as a EMT. She is also going to school to be a Paramedic and will graduate in May.

Our second scholarship announcement is awarded to Aaron Hurst. Aaron is attending Lansing Community College for Paramedic program. Aaron is a cadet firefighter with the Elsie Fire Department’s. Lansing Community College

Today we are announcing our first awarded public safety scholarship to Zoe Noechel (center)! Zoe will be attending Grand Valley State University for EMT. Zoe is currently a member of the South Lyon Fire Department Junior program.
