With this objective in mind, we conduct regular concerts featuring some of the renowned artists in the field of Indian music. We also conduct lecture-demonstration events which provide you with an opportunity to experience and enhance your knowledge about a specific area of Indian classical vocal or instrumental music. We are particularly keen to promote an interest in Indian music among the young
er generation. Therefore, we start every concert with the performance by a young, student artist. These artists can be practicing any art form such as Hindustani or Carnatic vocal/instrumental, a classical dance form such as Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, etc. We also conduct a concert once a year, named Kal-Ke-Kalakar (artist of the future), which is meant exclusively to showcase the talents of the younger generation. The director of Raag-Rang is the noted Hindustani vocalist, Mitali Banerjee-Bhawmik. Her extensive experience in the field of music enables Raag-Rang to be able to showcase some of the best talents in the field of Indian classical music.
