A haunted house, but… it’s Nova still waiting for her forever home. 💔
This is not a joke. We have been posting Nova since AUGUST, and she still has nowhere to go. She is living in a CAR. When she isn’t in the car, she’s being kept in a garage.
Now, as overnight temperatures are dropping into the 30s, this situation is becoming increasingly dangerous and simply isn’t sustainable.
Her owner is running out of options. If a home cannot be found, he will have no choice but to consider euthanasia. We don’t say that lightly. It’s the heartbreaking reality of where things stand.
We’ve shared Nova over and over again, and despite the comments, shares, and people expressing interest, nothing has worked out.
Please understand a comment saying someone applied, offered to help, or is interested DOES NOT mean a dog is safe. Unfortunately, 90% of the time, people back out, never follow through, or turn out not to be an appropriate fit. Sometimes they haven’t even taken the time to read the entire post.
Meanwhile, the dog is still waiting. And Nova cannot afford to keep waiting.
We are BEGGING someone to give this girl a chance. She needs a miracle, and she needs it NOW.
Meet Nova:
✨ 6 year old female
✨ 45 lbs
✨ House trained and crate trained
✨ Knows basic commands
✨ Cat compatibility unknown
✨ Dog compatibility unknown
✨ Has only been around children she grew up with
We are looking for a home without children and preferably without other pets.
A little more about Nova:
Living in a car for months has taken a toll on Nova. She is stressed, anxious, and understandably overwhelmed. She has started barking at strangers and other animals out of fear and uncertainty.
But please remember that this is NOT Nova living her normal life. She is existing in survival mode. She has no stability, no routine, and nowhere to truly relax.
She deserves the opportunity to decompress in a safe, loving home. She deserves to feel secure again, to have a comfortable place to sleep, and to just be a dog.
We truly believe Nova has the potential to thrive when someone finally gives her that chance. Right now, her world is chaos, and she isn’t getting the opportunity to show who she really is.
Please don’t let Nova become another dog whose story ends simply because nobody stepped up in time.
