Cub Scout Pack 47 is a family-friendly scouting program in Brick, NJ for boys and girls in grades K–5.

We meet at the Herbertsville Firehouse and focus on fun, hands-on activities, community,leadership opportunities, and building confidence.

🏕️🐯🦁 Moving on up!

Our Lions and Tigers had a great night at their den meetings last week as they wrapped up another year of Cub Scout adventures.

The Lions completed their Build It Up, Knock It Down adventure and enjoyed some games together, while the Tigers gathered at Riverfront Park to celebrate a fun year and look ahead to what’s next.

Now everyone is excited for one of the biggest events of the year… Family Camp! This is where our Lions will officially become Tigers and our Tigers will cross over to Wolves! 🎉

We can’t wait to celebrate these scouts and all they’ve accomplished this year!

Getting ready for Family Camp! 🎨🏕️

At our latest Pack Night, scouts and families got together to create custom tie-dye shirts for our upcoming Family Camp weekend. Everyone had a blast getting creative with colors and designs!

We can’t wait to see everyone wearing their shirts at one of the most anticipated weekends of the year!

What a great weekend at Hook, Arrow & Shell! 🏕️🔥🎣

Our scouts spent the weekend at Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation enjoying everything Cub Scouting is all about… campfires, fishing, archery, outdoor skills, games, crafts, and time with friends.

From learning new skills to making memories around the campsite, it was an amazing weekend of adventure and fun in the great outdoors!

A big thank you to all the leaders and families who helped make the weekend possible 👏

Pack 47 had a great time meeting families at the Brick Schools Preschool Family Fair this week! 👋

We loved sharing information about Cub Scouts, handing out stickers and bookmarks, and talking with future scouts and their families about all the adventures scouting has to offer.

Whether it’s outdoor fun, new friendships, community service, or building confidence and leadership skills, Cub Scouts has something for everyone!

Hiking into adventure! 🌅🥾

Our Webelos (4th grade), Bears (3rd grade), and Wolves (2nd grade) recently hit the trails at Windward Beach Park for an evening hike filled with fun, teamwork, and beautiful views.

The Bears and Wolves completed requirements for their hiking adventures (including some very convincing “seal” impressions 🦭😂), while the Webelos kept going to reach their two-mile goal.

The night ended with an amazing sunset over the fishing pier and some great memories made along the way!

Exploring the outdoors together! 🌿🥾

This week, our Lions (Kindergarten) and Tigers (1st grade) teamed up for a hike at Windward Beach Park as part of their Cub Scout adventures.

Along the way, the scouts enjoyed the trails, worked on outdoor skills, and even helped collect some trash to keep the park clean 💚

It was a great night of fresh air, teamwork, and fun with friends!

Learning the basics and having fun doing it! 🏕️

Our Tigers (1st grade) have been busy working toward their camping adventure! They practiced setting up tents and played some fun camping games along the way.

It’s all about building skills, confidence, and having a great time with friends!
