Fairless Community!

The youth Falcon Baseball and Softball league is currently looking for a company to provide a quote to re-do the batting cages at the Navarre Athletic Complex.

Scope of work:
• Clean out everything currently inside the cages
• Re-pack and level the ground to be as low-maintenance as possible
• Install a proper base for turf (crushed gravel or limestone for drainage, topped with leveling sand or screenings for a smooth surface)
• Lay turf or batting cage mats for durability and performance, (Looking to see if we can find any that someone is willing to part with)

Access will likely require temporarily removing part of the fence to get equipment inside. Once the ground is prepped and turf is installed, we also plan to place small storage sheds in each cage for pitching machines.

Looking ahead, we would also like to explore adding a roof—such as a carport-style cover—to help protect the cages from weather and make them usable more often.

If your company is interested in providing a quote, please reach out to schedule a time to view the cages or stop by to look at them at your convenience. Once reviewed, we would appreciate a detailed quote for the work.
