🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, the members of Thibodeaux-Pellerin American Legion Post 133 join our community and our nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel and everyday Americans who ran toward danger to help others. We remember the military men and women who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed—many carrying the sacrifices of that service with them still today.

For many veterans, 9/11 became the moment that defined a generation of service. For all Americans, it remains a reminder of how quickly our differences can disappear when we stand together as one nation.

Today, we remember those who never came home, honor those who answered the call, and thank those who continue to serve our communities and our country.

From all of us at Thibodeaux-Pellerin American Legion Post 133, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana:

We remember. We honor. We stand together. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🙏 A Prayer of Remembrance

Heavenly Father, we ask You to comfort the families who still carry the loss of September 11th. Bless and protect our first responders, our military, our veterans, and all who serve our communities and our nation. Grant peace to those who continue to bear the wounds of that day and the years that followed.

May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the strength we found when we stood together as one nation.

God bless our veterans, God bless our first responders, and God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Amen.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸
1776 – 2026

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence, freedom, and resilience. As we honor this historic milestone, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who founded our nation and the generations of Americans who have defended the liberties we enjoy today.

On this Independence Day, Thibodeaux-Pellerin American Legion Post 133 of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, proudly salutes our veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and all Americans who continue to uphold the values of freedom, patriotism, and service to others.

As we gather with family, friends, and our community, let us reflect on the blessings of liberty, honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes, and look forward with hope and pride to the future of our great country.

May we never forget that freedom is not free, and may we continue to preserve the ideals that have made America a beacon of hope for the past 250 years.

From all of us at Thibodeaux-Pellerin American Legion Post 133, we wish everyone a safe, joyful, and patriotic Independence Day celebration.

🇺🇸 God Bless America, and Happy 250th Birthday to the United States of America! 🇺🇸
