I want to thank everyone who has supported 69a and everyone who came in and utilized our community art center. On June 1st, 2026, I dissolved 69a LLC. I did this with a heavy heart, and I will miss working with all the volunteers and everyone who utilized the space. There are so many people I want to mention, but that would take so long. I do need to thank Katharine Bachler, especially, without her, 69a would never have turned out the way it did. 69a Started out as a question: What does Brattleboro need? The answer was that Brattleboro has an extremely large population of people who need and still need assistance in many ways. Help is still much needed not only in Brattleboro, across the state, and the nation, but also in the world. We may not be able to help the most vulnerable individuals around the world right now, but we can help out our fellow Brattleboroians. We will need people to fill an invaluable void in this town. I am pursuing a new opportunity and am unable to continue operating 69a.
Durning the 10-4 resource distribution run which started May 2025 at 69a, a community art center, we were able to assisted 30 in obtaining jobs, 25 in finding housing, 19 in overcoming drug use, 13 r**e victims get help and services 11 in reconnecting with family, saved 9 people from drug overdoses, 8 kidnapping victims get assistance, 7 in returning home, stopped 4 suicides, 3 in getting emergency mental health, help 2 in quitting alcohol, as well as so many other things that we were able to acomplish in helping our artists and patrons. Not to mention, no one died from cold exposure this winter with 69a’s support. We could not have done this without our amazing volunteers and the townspeople who pulled together to donate time, supplies, clothing, and money.
Again, I want to thank everyone. Your assistance and support have helped hundreds of people in need over the past year.
