Our Goals 1. Provide support to pro-life initiatives by giving money earned through activities, developing educational programs, and organizing community involvement. 2. Recognize the youth of the community by involving them in various activities, providing scholarships for advanced academic studies, and service to the council. 3. Inform members of the benefits of the insurance programs offered by the Knights of Columbus. 4. Involve community in a variety of social and religious activities that bring together the members of the community and families in a positive and religious involvement. 5. Support the clergy of the parishes and seek means of providing help to seminarians and deacons in providing for our religious life. 6. Recognize families as the most important part of our community, and provide all possible means of supporting and nurturing their continued growth and development in the Christian community. Our Councils Activities • Palm Sunday pro-life breakfast • Tootsie Roll push for “special needs” children. • Pro-life bingo and raffle to help build a culture of life • Clergy appreciation night, to show the importance of all the clergy in our area • Altar Servers appreciation • CCD funding • Knights of Columbus Octoberfest • Memorial mass for deceased members • Christmas party for members and wives • Scholarship fund for members students in college • Maintenance and Mass, at the Lady of the Hills statue • We also have a produce garden, from which we donate over 3,000 pounds, which the majority goes to The United Way.
