Thanks to our retail food rescue program, 763 pounds of delicious Costco food was delivered to our neighbors at Lakes Area Food Shelf.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are so pleased and grateful to announce that our Stock the Shelves Food Drive has concluded and was very successful for its first year! Here are the totals:

💰$13,500 Raised
🍗 3,500 lbs of food donated

Our 12 Crow Wing County Food Shelves and Meal Sites are so thankful for the community's generosity, especially during a time of increased need and shrinking resources.

We plan to have this food drive annually, so watch for our announcement next October. Thank you for taking care of your neighbors!

Such good news for our area! Please support Lakes Area Food Shelf in this important endeavor and remember that we currently have our food drive going right now, which benefits all of our neighbors who need a little help.

The SuperShelf store model creates a grocery store environment. The Brainerd/Baxter area is ‘experiencing significant growth in people facing food insecurity,’ the nonprofit reported.
