Brady Revive is excited to announce the roll-out of our Honorary Benches around the downtown square!

Over the next month, you’ll begin to see more benches with personalized plaques placed throughout the square. Each bench was purchased by generous community members to help make our downtown more welcoming and inviting.

A big thank you to the families, businesses, McCulloch County Commissioners, and the Texas Historical Commission for supporting this first step in revitalizing our historic square.

Thank you, Brady, for helping us make our town even more beautiful.

🍝 A Huge Thank You to Jon & Lisa Berglund! 🍝

Brady Revive would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Jon and Lisa Berglund for their incredibly generous raffle donation — a truly unforgettable Italian culinary experience in their beautiful and iconic home. 🍽️🥂

From learning to make fresh, handmade ravioli to sharing a full Italian meal together, every detail of the evening was thoughtfully prepared and graciously hosted. Guests enjoyed wonderful wine, indulgent tiramisu, and even homemade limoncello — all creating such a warm, welcoming, and memorable night around the table.

Lisa is such a wonderful and thoughtful host, and the care and joy they pour into hosting made the experience extra special for everyone who attended.

Not only was this an amazing and unique evening, but the funds raised from their generosity will directly support our mission to help revitalize and beautify Brady. 💛🌿

Thank you, Jon and Lisa, for sharing your time, talent, and hospitality with our community. Your kindness is truly making a difference — and helping make Brady even more beautiful!

📣 Community Help Needed!

Hey Brady friends! We’re trying to uncover some local history about the gazebo on the courthouse square. There’s a memory floating around that maybe some high school students helped build it in the 1980s or 1990s, but we’re not sure of the details.

If you remember when it was built, who was involved, or any fun stories about it, we’d love for you to share! Any photos, memories, or details would be amazing. Let’s celebrate this piece of our Brady history together!

We love to see our beautiful town covered in a blanket of snow. Stay warm, everyone!

✨ Brady Revive Project Update ✨

Since our first fundraising event in October and the introduction of our initial focused projects, Brady Revive has been meeting regularly with key partners and making meaningful progress as we look ahead to an exciting 2026 for our community.

We want to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the McCulloch County Commissioners, the City of Brady, and the Texas Historical Commission for their support and their willingness to imagine what’s possible for our city. Your collaboration plays a vital role as we work together to beautify, restore, and reimagine the spaces that make Brady such a special place to call home.

For those who were unable to attend the Cowboy Cotillion and see our presentation firsthand, here is a brief overview of the projects Brady Revive is actively pursuing in the months ahead:

1️⃣ Town Square Christmas Décor
The City of Brady Utilities Crew has done a wonderful job lighting up our town this year. We will continue working alongside them to explore what future décor and lighting displays around the square could look like in the years to come.

2️⃣ Gazebo Build
In partnership with the County Commissioners and the Texas Historical Commission, we are working toward rebuilding the historic gazebo on the square and restore a beloved landmark for generations to enjoy.

3️⃣ Honorary Benches
We are adding honorary benches throughout the square and broader community. Thanks to overwhelming support, we have already exceeded our first-year goal and will pause additional bench requests for the time being.

4️⃣ Bridge Railing Beautification
We are in active discussions with TxDOT as we explore the best approach to enhance two important gateways into our town square by painting the metal bridge railings black on the west and north entrances to Brady.

We are incredibly grateful for the community’s enthusiasm and support as these projects continue to take shape.
Beautifying Brady, one thoughtful improvement at a time! ❤️🌟

What a night, Brady! 🤠✨

We are still smiling after the inaugural Cowboy Cotillion — and it’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are. The turnout, the energy, the laughter, the music, the conversations… it all exceeded our hopes. Most of all, it was the overwhelming encouragement and shared love for our town that made the evening so special.

We were truly honored to share Brady Revive’s mission in person and to hear your ideas. The community crowdsourcing board and project posters were buzzing with thoughtful suggestions — proof that people care deeply about the future of our hometown.

If you weren’t able to join us, don’t worry! We’ll be sharing each project initiative on our page in the coming weeks so everyone can stay informed and involved. Transparency and collaboration will continue to guide every step we take.

To every volunteer, organization, ticket holder, musician, cook, setup/cleanup hand, and neighbor who showed up in spirit or in person, thank you. This event was possible because of you.

We leave this weekend even more inspired and motivated. Brady Revive is simply a group of citizens who believe in celebrating our town, investing in beauty and functionality, and creating spaces we can all be proud of. And after last night, we know we are not alone in that vision.

Here’s to what we can build together. 💛
This is just the beginning.
