Hi Troop!

We are joining other Troops for the Lego Derby Jan 17th at Christ Community Church in Idaho Falls where we will be camping overnight.
ID-2717 is hosting this year. If any of the adults and/or trailmen are able to volunteer, it would be highly appreciated. Extra volunteers are welcome as well.

We hope you can attend. The Lego Derby is Trail Life’s national tradition and a good one to get excited about!
To be prepared for the event, please bring a Lego vehicle that fits within the required size. Oversized vehicles often fail to move properly on the track. If you are avaliable to help with the Judge panel, set up, or tear down please indicate so on the RSVPs. Brackets will be complied in advance, so complete RSVPs to your troop coordinator is appreciated. Races will run in brackets starting with foxes at 9am, pathfinders (AHG) 9:45 am, Hawks 10:30am, Tenderheart (AHG) 11:15 am, Mountain Lion noon, explorer (AHG) 12:45 pm, Navigator/Adventure 1:30 pm, Frontier 2:30 pm, Leader and guest race 3pm. All times are best guesses, Please show up at least 30 min before your race for check-in and weighing.
Set up is expected to start at 8am and tear down should be completed by 4pm. Concessions are TBD. This is a family event and guest are encouraged, Please have all leaders and trailmen (AHG too) in uniform to help with ensuring Youth Protection Guidelines are followed.
Rules:

We will plan to leave the Cenex in 4Corners and return when the event ends which tentatively may be anywhere from 6-9. Please bring a sack dinner for Friday night. Breakfast will tentatively be cooking at the church subject to change. There will be a concession stand with Pizza for lunch and we will be on our own for dinner on the way back if it’s late.
Please bring a water bottle, camp pad, sleeping bag, pillows, a change of clothes, uniform, badge, and handbook. Dress warm.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone, we are excited to go on our second campout of the new year for Troop 0210 Friday, November 7th! It will be a one-night campout at Trapper Springs Recreation Area between Four Corners and Norris, MT. The campsite will be a β€œdrive-in”, so no need to prepare as if it were a backpacking trip.

Please RSVP at https://www.TrailLifeConnect.com/event/etjdjpfahsda as to whether you will come or not; it greatly helps us prepare!

Please ensure your son packs the following mandatory items: a tent, sleeping bag, warm clothes (including a coat), flashlight, snacks, water bottle. If you’re lacking any of this equipment but would still like to attend, please don’t let that stop you! Simply let us know what you may be missing and we can loan out any equipment you may need.

If you have a pocket knife, please bring it. IMPORTANT: Remind your Trailman to NOT take it out until instructed to by a leader

Please remember that Hawk level and below (boys age 8 and under) are required to have their dad join in order to attend.

The troop will bring food for dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday morning and additional snacks in case anyone runs out. Please send $25 with your son to cover the cost of food, or Venmo $25 to .

We will depart from the Cenex in Four Corners at 4:00 pm on Friday, and aim to be back about noon on Saturday.

If there are any change of plans along the way, such as if we are running late, heading home early due to weather, etc., we will post updates to our public Whatsapp channel. Register here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/HAzEbRnw2IPJFvUTUnaI9c

Boys are getting a tough break. Everywhere a boy goes he's told to sit still, be quiet, and behave like the girls. But, properly channeled and intentionally challengedβ€”the exuberance, drive, and daring of healthy boys is exactly what's right with society.
