We will Never Forget the 343 Firefighters and all others who gave their lives on this tragic day.

Twenty-four years later, we will NEVER FORGET. We honor the 343 FDNY firefighters and all who gave their lives on 9/11, and we stand with the countless first responders and survivors still fighting and succumbing to 9/11 related illnesses. The extraordinary rescue efforts and sacrifice made on 9.11.01 continue to shape our profession and strengthen our duty and obligation to the oath we swore.

At approximately 3:30a, E62 was dispatched to 495 North bound , just north of 111 for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, the on duty crew encountered heavy fire from the rear of a TT unit. The fire was extinguished and overhauled.
