It’s officially Bennett’s birthday week! This Saturday we will celebrate Bennett’s 2nd heavenly birthday! Last year we celebrated with over $3,000 worth of NICU donations for NICU awareness month and this year we are hoping to do the same! All donations will be accepted until 9/30/2025!

September holds a very special place in our hearts — it’s not only a time to bring awareness to the NICU journey so many families face, but also the month we celebrate our son Bennett’s birthday. Bennett spent all 12 precious hours of his life in the NICU in Nashville, TN before he passed, and we want to honor his memory in a way that helps others walking this path. 💛

The NICU can be an overwhelming place for families — emotionally, mentally, and even financially. The smallest moments of care and comfort mean the world to parents sitting at their baby’s bedside. This September, we are collecting NICU-approved care items that will be donated directly to current NICU families to ease their journey and remind them they are not alone.

🛒 How to Give:
All donations can be purchased through our Amazon or baby Wish List and will be delivered straight to us. We’ll make sure every single item is donated in honor of Bennett’s 2nd Heavenly Birthday.

📅 Donation Deadline:
Donations will be accepted until September 30th.

Bennetts bears family - if you sent something that will not be here before we take the donations to the children’s hospital on Friday do not worry! Your donation will still get to the children in the NICU! We are in touch with a few nurses there and will be able to get it to them!

Thank you to everyone who donated to Bennetts Bears in honor of Bennett’s 1st heavenly birthday and also during NICU Awareness month! Because of you we are able to donate over $3,000 worth of items to the children and families who call the NICU their temporary home! We would love to thank each of your individually in this post but it would be extremely way too long! So thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are so excited to be able to deliver all items to The Monroe Carell Jr Children’s Hospital this upcoming Friday, October 4th!

A special shout out to Gift Horse in East Nashville, Five Points Pizza, and Lila in Hendersonville for their donations! We adore these local businesses who gave to this cause! If you aren’t familiar with them go give their page a follow or visit their storefronts!

We have 2 shopping lists for the donations! If you are purchasing a swaddle and you do not see the prime option, the Babylist would have quicker shipping instead of mid October like the Amazon one! We’ve had a few folks order and then get notifications on a mid October shipping date for Amazon on the swaddles!
