What a day!! 🍀

Our first stop was the Ottawa County Fair, and wow, what a fun place. We met some of their newly crowned royalty, enjoyed a wonderful tour, spotted a few familiar faces 😉, and shared plenty of laughs.

Next, we headed to the Crawford County Fair, where we got to meet the Hancock County Fair King, pet some adorable alpacas 🦙, and visit with their royalty too. They had something I thought was especially cool: the Celebrity Sweepstakes, where agricultural teachers competed to show off their knowledge about each fair animal. Such a fun idea!

Overall, we’re so glad we were able to make two stops today. Both fairs were wonderful, welcoming, and uniquely their own. We hope they’ll come visit us soon!

Yesterday we had the honor of visiting Country Paws to share all the ways you can get involved at the Wood County Fair beyond 4‑H!

We highlighted opportunities like the Junior Fair Board, the Honors Court, and of course the Royalty Court. We’re excited to start connecting with FFA and 4‑H clubs to keep building momentum for future Royalty Courts.

We had a super fun time at the Lucas County Fair this week!

We had the opportunity to attend their crowning ceremony, explore the fair, meet their newly crowned royalty, and spend time with so many wonderful people. Thank you to our neighboring county for such a warm welcome, we had a fantastic time and can’t wait to visit again! 🎡

This Saturday afternoon at the Lucas Country Fair, our Wood County senior fair board President, Paul Perry, will be taking a seat in the dunk tank! Come test your aim, cheer him on, and help bring some fun and entertainment to the fair!
