The truth is, not everything we experience is about the person standing in front of us. Sometimes there’s a deeper battle taking place.

As believers, we have a choice.

We can replay the wound.Or we can release it.

We can carry the offense.Or we can choose freedom.

Choosing not to be offended doesn’t mean what happened was okay.

It means you’re refusing to let someone else’s actions have authority over your heart.

Freedom is still available.

And today, you can choose it.

You’re scrolling through SOCIAL MEDIA for a word from God because you’re too tired to open your Bible.🛑

Let’s be honest. You’re exhausted, your mind is heavy, and your soul feels completely dry. So instead of sitting down with scripture, you spend an hour looking for a prophet on your feed or a 60-second video to give you a quick shot of peace.

But a video can’t sustain you.

The real reason you aren’t reading isn’t that you lack time… it’s that you’re overwhelmed before you even open the page. You feel like you don’t know where to start, you get confused by the context, and it ends up feeling like a chore instead of a lifeline.

You don’t need a theology degree to hear from God. You just need a simple, zero-fluff approach to get back into alignment. ‼️

Why are we so terrified of the word “submission”? 🤔

Let’s have a real conversation and stop dancing around it. We don’t like talking about submission because we feel like it means slavery or losing our minds. But that is completely unbiblical. 🙅

True kingdom submission isn’t about being silent or having no opinion. As a wife, you are his Ezer, his helpmate. That means you have a voice! You collude with him, you support him, and you are there to make sure he isn’t out here looking crazy. 💯

It’s about divine order: you submit to your man, the man of God submits to the Lord, and we submit to one another. We don’t have to be scared of a word when it’s handled the way God intended.

Stop treating biblical order like a cage. Real submission is a strategy. 🙌🏾

Most of us have mastered the action.
We show up. We stay kind. We keep the peace.

But God isn’t just watching what you do,
He’s checking the heart you’re doing it with.

Philippians 2:5 says have the same attitude as Jesus.
Not just the same actions. The same attitude.

That’s the deeper work.
And it starts with asking not just “what would Jesus do”

but what would Jesus think.

About your thoughts.
About the person you’re being kind to, in public.
About what’s really going on in your heart.

We’re all a work in progress.
Let’s be intentional about both. 🤍

It’s SCARY how easy it is to get so caught up in being right, in the rules, the traditions, the checklists, that you completely stop seeing people. 😤

and that’s exactly what Jesus called out in the Pharisees. they were so committed to being correct that they forgot how to be compassionate. 👀

you can know every scripture. follow every rule. check every box. and still walk right past somebody who is hurting. 😭

that is NOT the kingdom. 🚫 Jesus cared about PEOPLE. not performance.

and if we call ourselves disciples, we gotta get back to that. 🙏🏾

people over rules. compassion over tradition. always. 👏🏾

Following Jesus was never meant to be done alone.

We all need people who will check on us, pray with us, encourage us, and remind us to keep going.

That’s why we’re gathering on July 11.

Not for a perfect event.
Not for perfect people.

Just a community coming together, building relationships, and growing in faith together.
