An encouraging update from Hour of Grace Educational Complex! ❤️

The kitchen is almost complete, children are being fed, and lives are being impacted every day. Through H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow's school lunch program, vulnerable children, including orphans and children from single-parent households, receive a nutritious meal while at school.

Some students have shared that school lunch is sometimes their only meal of the day. Your support helps provide nourishment, hope, and the opportunity for children to learn and succeed.

Growing knowledge from the ground up 🌱

Students at Hour of Grace Educational Complex are learning agriculture through hands on experience at the school farm. They are gaining practical skills while understanding the importance of sustainability and food systems.

This work is part of our partnership with the school to connect education with real life application and long term impact.

🌍🍽️ International School Meals Day

Since January 2022, H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow has served 187,780 lunches to students in Ghana. What started as a simple desire to make sure children had a meal during the school day has grown into something truly meaningful.

-187,780 lunches served to students since January 2022
-Two school gardens established where crops help supply meals and students learn about agriculture
-A poultry project at Hour Of Grace Educational Complex that supplies eggs for meals and generates income
-Poultry farm revenue currently helping fund the construction of a new school kitchen

🏗️ Exciting Progress at Hour of Grace Educational Complex! 🍽️🐔

We are excited to share that a new kitchen is currently being built at Hour of Grace Educational Complex — the beneficiary school of H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow — in Wassa East Adwenase, Ghana. Construction is already underway and should be completed soon.

This past fall, the school’s stakeholder committee raised concerns that the previous kitchen posed a safety hazard and needed to be more hygienic to properly serve the students. The school took those concerns seriously and moved forward with a solution.

Thanks to income generated from the school’s poultry farm, the new kitchen is being funded through sustainable, locally generated resources. 🐓 The farm is not only helping to feed students, but it is also funding improvements that create a safer and healthier environment for learning.

Our goal is to continue expanding the poultry farm so the school can:
✨ Generate more stable income
✨ Provide nutritious meals for students
✨ Invest in essential educational resources
✨ Proactively address infrastructure and student needs

This is what empowerment looks like — building long-term solutions that strengthen both today and tomorrow.
