🙏 We were so blessed this past month with donations and the PetSense gift card, that we were able to help 8 pet families at today’s distribution! ❤️ It took 2 carloads and 4-1/2 hours to deliver all that dog and cat food (and bird toys, litter boxes, and arthritis supplements)!

😺❤️CHANGE IS COMING🐶🙏

My love for pets and how I want to help them and their guardians through hard times is evolving again. Independent of Let’s Stay Together Pets, I am currently working toward offering mobile holistic treatments for pets and their people, and will be gradually stepping back from the organization.

However, it would break my heart 💔 if Let’s Stay Together Pets ceased to exist. So I’m reaching out to invite fellow pet lovers to consider taking over our modest operations, and eventually ownership of the organization.

Based in Bourbon, Missouri, we have been serving the pet family community with our pet food pantry program for 1-1/2 years. We have a simple food collection & distribution system, a growing network of fellow advocates, and currently 31 families in monthly rotation who rely on us and other resources to keep their creature companions fed so they can stay in the homes they know with the humans they love.

While this is currently a volunteer endeavor, we have started working toward making the Executive Director a paid position. There’s a lot of work ahead to grow Let's Stay Together Pets into the community resource I dreamt of for decades, so if you or someone you know feel called to do this kind of work in the world and want to know more, please reach out to us by commenting on this post, sending us a DM, or calling/texting Joyce at 573-259-1822. ❤️🙏

WOW, what a great time to adopt!

💙🏡 LONG-TERM RESIDENT ADOPTION SPECIAL! 🏡💙

Some of our most deserving animals have been waiting far too long for a family to call their own.

From now through August 15, adoption fees are completely WAIVED for selected cats and dogs who have been in our care for 75 days or longer.

These incredible pets have watched others come and go while they continue to wait. They have so much love to give—they just need someone to give them a chance.

She is high-energy, loving to run and wrestle and pretend to bite your feet! 😅 As long as she’s well-exercised, I think her mellow side would make her great with kids. 🤗
