United Students Against Sweatshops at CU Boulder United Students Against Sweatshops local #303 is a student group organizing solidarity with workers who face deplorable conditions locally and abroad.

USAS at CU is currently campaigning for our university to end its contract with apparel company JanSport unless its parent, VF Corporation, signs the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh. VF has a long history of neglect in regard to workers’ rights. Therefore, if immediate action is not taken by the company to improve its business practices, it will be necessary for CU to cut its contract to prevent licensed apparel from being produced under sweatshop conditions.
