Today the girls spent their time in safety lessons for marksmanship and archery. They got to spend time on the gun range today practicing their skills and putting their safety knowledge to the test. They finished the evening with a solid game of capture the flag, vespers, camp fire, and a solid round of leap frog just before bed.

The last few days have been packed full of staff fun! We have been on river floats and horseback rides, worked on our blacksmithing skills, tested our reflexes at Stonehenge while rock climbing and even spent our first night under the stars watching the northern lights at our meadow campsite. We are so blessed to share this experience with our new staff.

Vespers is special tradition for Camp GROW. Each night we gather together for reflection on our day. Tonight Executive Director Cheyenne gave the first vespers of the year on the bitter root flowers currently in bloom on the property, highlighting perseverance in tough times. This coming week our staff will work to prepare their own vespers to share with campers.
