Trail job in Buena Vista, Colorado!

Buena Vista Singletrack Coalition is hiring a Trail Program Manager. This person will be responsible for providing a long-term vision for Buena Vista’s trail network, managing and prioritizing existing trail maintenance needs, and developing a robust volunteer program in alignment with the mission, strategic plan, and priorities of the Buena Vista Singletrack Coalition.

This position supports sustainable trail stewardship, community engagement, and responsible recreation in Northern Chaffee County.

TRAIL PREVIEW:
Making great use of the undulating finger mountains, this team is creating an advanced cross-country style descent that is packed with rock rolls, tight switchbacks, and epic views of the Great Basin.

We can’t thank our partners of the U.S. Forest Service-Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Great Basin Trail Stewardship, and White Pine County Tourism & Recreation enough for trusting us, collaborating with us, and seeing this project through until the end!

The best backcountry mountain biking happens miles from the nearest road.

The Roadless Rule protects more than 10,000 miles of iconic trail open to bikes across our National Forests. A proposal to rescind the Roadless Rule could open those places to new road building, logging and other extractive industries.
