Surrounded by gobs of idyllic terrain for mountain biking, Allentown, Pennsylvania is prime for the next phase of trail development.

One of the 2026 IMBA Trail Accelerator Grantees for planning and design, Valley Mountain Bikers are looking to establish new access points from neighborhoods that currently have very limited access to nearby natural-surface trails. And this is more than rad trails; they will provide better and more meaningful opportunities for underserved communities to fall in love with the abundant natural resources right outside of their backdoor.
