This is what commitment and hard work looks like!

What an incredible group of founders we’ve been able to collaborate with this year. In the inaugural cycle of our Founders Program, these entrepreneurs made the decision to join us. Together, we focused on all the aspects of scaling a business.

The reality is: building a tech startup is not full of glamor and lucky moments. It takes accountability, coachability, and a great deal of resilience for an entrepreneur to create and sell value. We’ve been deeply inspired by this group — their focus on success is real and we’ve seen their dedication firsthand!

“Trends can be a wonderful way to bring people together in a time when we really need it,” shares Chelsie Hall, Founder of ViralMoment.

In January 2021, Chelsie and co-founder Sheyda Demooei (a fellow Carnegie Mellon University alumna) created a software company to take the guesswork out of social media trends. ViralMoment uses artificial intelligence, computer vision, and context layering to understand online video, image, text, and audio conversations while also predicting and monitoring trends. In essence, ViralMoment provides information on viral trends and translates these insights into actionable steps for brands and government agencies.

Having co-founded multiple startups, Chelsie’s drive to build ViralMoment stems from a place of problem solving. She questions how people will access information in the future and sees an opportunity to make the internet a positive place.

ViralMoment has made big strides, winning first-place in the Eradicate Hate Global Summit in Pittsburgh and gaining support from the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship’s VentureBridge program at CMU and Techstars LA. The company has worked with world-leading brands including Hulu, Delta Air Lines, WarnerMedia, DC, Wieden+Kennedy, and many more.

If you’ve met our co-founder Bob Dobkin, he might have told you that he always wanted to be an engineer. As a young child, he loved taking things apart. He was born an inventor!

As co-founder of Linear Technologies, Bob grew the company from a small team of 5 to a workforce of 5,000 people. As a result of his hard work, the company was sold for $15 billion.

However, Bob says that without his business partner, Robert Swanson, the company would not have seen the success it did. While Bob drove engineering, his partner was business-minded. They reached great heights by pairing up their complementary abilities.

Innovation takes a team. The genesis of the Intuitive Foundation is bringing technologists and business people together. Above all, the goal of our courses, fellowships, and mentorship programs is to provide training on entrepreneurship and leadership, so that the best ideas never get stuck inside a lab.
