Boulder City Hospital has eliminated inpatient care.
Patients now have to be transported out of town.

That means:

* 🚑 Longer transport times
* 🚑 Ambulances out of the city longer
* 🚑 More calls with no units available

We already operate with limited staffing covering over 200+ square miles.

So ask yourself:

If your emergency happens while crews are tied up out of town… is help coming?

📞 Call your elected officials and ask why critical services are being reduced while demand keeps increasing.

Because when the system is stretched this thin—
delays aren’t a possibility… they’re a reality.

Big changes at Boulder City Hospital: inpatient stays over 24 hours are ending and 70+ jobs are being cut as the hospital shifts to a rural emergency hospital designation amid federal funding changes.

FOX5's Kim Passoth reports.

Boulder City Fire Department covers one of the largest response areas in the State of Nevada with limited staffing—while remaining a full all-hazards fire department.

Our dedicated men and women show up every day and do the absolute best they can with the resources available. Their commitment to this community does not go unnoticed.

We are also incredibly grateful for our mutual aid partners at Henderson Fire Department, who are always willing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers and sisters when help is needed.

🤝 Strong partnerships. Dedicated professionals. Community first.
