Seriously. Today is the day before the storm. Stock up. If you don't use it, save it. That can help you get 2 Weeks Ready for an even bigger emergency like an earthquake. Tips at mil.wa.gov/preparedness
▶️No BBQs inside or you risk carbon monoxide poisoning. Same concern with generators
▶️Don't travel if you don't have to (Teleworking is looking really good right now)
▶️ Have a family plan in place now in case you can't get to work or school is canceled for several days.

In keeping with our commitment to begin addressing later elementary start times, the District has made adjustments to the bell time schedules for the 2018-19 school year. Please note that some elementary schools will be starting slightly earlier.

Bothell Emergency Preparedness - Last night we had a CERT/HAM disaster drill. We worked with the Bothell Fire Dept and conducted a communication drill with 17 defined disaster zones. The great news is all 17 of our HAM operators were able to communicate simplex and via repeater back to Bothell Fire station HAM unit. We also found the community communication board (for our area) to be used in a disaster located at 35th Ave SE and 240th ST SE at the bus stop pull off. Next drill will be in 2 months. I will be taking CERT training in Kenmore in Feb. and anyone that is interested can contact the Kenmore fire dept. I will also post application method on the HOA Website We will be prepared!
