This page is to gather all the lost and found animals in the following areas listed below and reunite them with their owners. Please remember to check both Putnam County Animal Services and local groups daily for your missing pet. Contact Animal Control at 386.329.0396 ext. 1 and leave a detailed message if you reach their voicemail. Email a picture and information for all missing or found pets to
[email protected]. Remember your definition of size, breed, age, and color may not be the same as theirs so providing as much detail will help make reuniting easier. Ask them to send you the current rescue list via email for the area and start reaching out to them. Contact surrounding counties in Florida as we've had pets taken to Jacksonville Humane, Escambia County Animal Control and all the way to West Palm Beach Animal Control. Pictures of available animals can be found on Furry Adoptables of Putnam and Friends of Putnam County. They are NOT posted on intake and may not be posted till AFTER their hold time is over. They ARE NOT allowed to take pictures of some of the animals there SO YOU MUST GO LOOK! That can change at any time. Owner surrenders have 24 hours and strays have 3-5 days to be reclaimed. The ACOs bring in strays from all over Putnam County so please check there first as time is of the essence. If your pet was there but saved by a rescue please contact them directly to get your pet back if possible. Remember they are trying to save their lives when they rescue them. PLEASE POST ANY AND ALL LOST ANIMAL SIGNS YOU SEE IN YOUR AREA AND SHARE TO SPREAD THE WORD. WE CANNOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF WE DON’T SHARE!
