Meet Yohanis! You’ve probably seen him keeping score at all of our games the last couple years. Help us congratulate him on graduating from Boston Latin School. We are incredibly proud of him. He has been a huge part of Kickoff for Kids since the 8th grade. For years, he has volunteered his time week after week, helping keep score and always stepping up to help. We are excited to see him begin the next chapter of his journey at Northeastern University, where he will study Data Science and Economics.

We are deeply saddened by the recent traumatic event involving the Byrne family, longtime members of our Kickoff for Kids community.

The Byrnes are always among the first to step up. Whether it’s coaching, volunteering, supporting our events, or simply being there for others. Their children have been a part of our program for years, and their family has made a lasting impact on so many.

To help support them during this difficult time, the children will be hosting a lemonade stand fundraiser. We encourage everyone to stop by, show their support, and help give back to a family that has given so much to our community. Our motto is “Pay it Forward”. Please do that today at their Lemonade stand @ the corner of E and West Ninth Street 5:30pm. 🍋💛🫶🏻
