💝 Day 4: Community Service – Angel’s Impact🎗️🪽
In February 2023, my momma was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative breast cancer at 53 years old. From day one, she chose to share her journey with raw honesty, strength, and unwavering faith. She reminded everyone that cancer could never dim their light.

As a former nurse, she poured love into everyone around her, connecting not just with her care team, but with fellow patients, too. She brought goodies during the holidays, decorated treatment rooms with inspiring quotes, and made every space feel hopeful. Her fight wasn’t just her own, it became a source of strength for so many.

I knew she was making a difference online, but after I broke both arms and moved home, I truly saw her impact in person. People stopped to pray with her, ask for advice, and thank her for her courage. That’s when I knew her legacy had to live on.

So I created Angel’s Impact: My mission to serve cancer patients with dignity, beauty, and love. I’ve had the honor of sharing her story across Ouachita Parish, advocating with Susan G. Komen on Capitol Hill, and raising $2,000 to provide wigs and clothing to patients who deserve to feel confident and seen.

And today, I’ll let my momma remind you of something she always believed:

More than a logo, it’s a movement💗🪽🎗️

When I created Angel’s Impact, I didn’t just want a name. I wanted something sacred, something that carried my mother Angel’s spirit and supported others walking the same hard road she did. This updated logo is a reflection of that mission, and a piece of her heart I now share with the world.

The angel wings represent her grace and compassion, and how she lifted others even while suffering. The halo, shaped like an “I” for Impact, stands for the ripples she left behind, and the difference I hope to make by supporting families, raising awareness, and inspiring strength through Angel’s Impact.

The cancer ribbon forms the body of the angel, reminding us this isn’t just about breast cancer. Angel’s Impact supports all cancer types. And the ribbon means more than illness, it symbolizes God’s love and strength wrapping around every fighter, reminding them they are never alone.

I prayed over this design. I asked God to let it be more than beautiful; to let it bring peace, inspire hope, and carry on a legacy of love and purpose.

This logo is for her. But it’s also for you, for every family, every fighter, and every heart that’s ever asked, “What can I do?”

You can give. You can care. You can hope.

So excited for this incredible opportunity! I’m beyond grateful that God has blessed me in so many ways!

🎗️Hey Washington, D.C., I’m coming with purpose.🎗️

I am honored to share that I’ve been selected as a Susan G. Komen Advocate and will be traveling to our nation’s capital for the 2025 Advocacy Summit. 💕

I’ll be meeting with lawmakers to share my mother’s story of her strength, her smile, and the fight she faced battling one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. She taught me what it means to stand strong in the storm, and now I carry her voice with me to advocate for women and families just like ours.

At the summit, I’ll be fighting for:
• Increased research funding
• Better access to diagnostic imaging
• The removal of barriers that delay treatment
• And the support every patient deserves from day one

This journey has also led me to create a new logo for Angel’s Impact, a symbol that holds meaning beyond words. The angel wings represent my mother’s grace, the halo forms the shape of an “I” for the “Impact” that I hope to have and the body of the angel is a breast cancer ribbon, honoring the fight my mother faced with unmatched faith and courage. I prayed over this design because I wanted it to be more than just a logo. It is a reflection of her legacy and the light she left behind for me to embody.

This isn’t just about policies, it’s about people. It’s about making sure no one has to walk through this journey alone. I’m grateful to be one of the voices speaking up for change, and I know my mom will be with me every step of the way. 💗

No matter your season, trust that His timing is perfect, and the blessings He has in store are beyond what you could ever imagine.🫶🏻💌
