NHN-Neighbors Helping Neighbors Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a charitable not-for-profit food pantry and USDA Foods Distribution Point. Of these 26% are children under the age of 18.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors was established in 2007. We operate under an agreement with the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri. On average NHN serves over 230 Families each month or 640 individuals. As a not-for-profit we operate on donations of food and monies from members and businesses within our community. n Cooper County live below the federal poverty level. 16.1% living in Boonville are "food insecure" and for New Franklin the rate is 12.6%. What that means is 2725 people do not know where their next meal is coming from! With the average cost of a meal $2.49 for each person it only takes a little on everyone's part to make a big difference. Volunteers are vital to the success of the Food Pantry. Volunteers provide an average of 428 hours of service per month. We are always looking for those willing to serve whether an hour or a distribution, your time will be greatly appreciated.

A big blessing to Boonville!

🎉 BIG BLESSING ALERT! 🙌

Today, we received a very important delivery 210 POUNDS of chicken patties! 💛 That’s 210 pounds of food that will go directly toward helping families in our community.

These chicken patties will be available FREE during The Royal Wardrobe hours while supplies last. If you or someone you know could use a little extra help, please come see us. Since we’re currently going through renovations, we will be available Sunday evenings from 6 to 7 if you or your family are in need of chicken patties.

The Royal Wardrobe is about so much more than clothing. As we continue growing, our goal is to find more ways to meet the needs of the families we serve and strengthen our community one family at a time. 🫶

Kindness is spreading in Boonville! 🌟 There are now not one, not two, but THREE Blessing Boxes providing non-perishable food. All thanks to the generosity of local community members. They are located outside Uptown Girlz on Main near Casey's, Red Dirt Rag Co at Main and Morgan, and Countryside Canine at 17961 Boonslick Rd. Keep paying it forward everyone! 💖
