Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa is hiring a Camp Director at Girl Scout Camp Sacajawea!

The Camp Director is responsible for managing the operations of their GSGI camp, creating memorable, meaningful, and safe camp experiences each summer. This role includes recruitment, training, and management of seasonal camp staff, financial management of the camp’s programs and expenses, oversight and implementation of camp programs and outdoor adventures, and management and ex*****on of year-round facility rentals on the camp property.

We recognize that talented individuals bring different passions and career timelines. Because of this, we are offering flexible employment options for this role, open to a permanent placement or interim summer 2026.

☘It's our lucky day! ☘ Troop camp registration is NOW OPEN! 🤩🛶⛺😍
Don't forget! We've simplified the initial registration process. You'll need your troop number, first and last name of the person registering for the troop, email address, phone number, and the the total number of people you're bringing to troop camp. You'll select your preferred lodging during registration and pay the $100 deposit per troop. Names, ages, and email addresses for each registrant will be gathered at a later time (about 8 weeks before the date of your camp session). Visit girlscoutsiowa.org/camp for more details!
