Purple Heart Homes High Country Chapter We are a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to assisting mobility limited Veterans by remodeling their home.

501C-3 nonprofit founded by Veterans for Veterans, which has the singular mission of making life easier for Service Connected Disabled Veterans by modifying, adapting, or building on existing homes to ensure greater mobility and comfort. Founded by two Combat Wounded Veterans, Dale Beatty and John Gallina, who are on a mission to care for other service connected disabled Veterans by providing hous

ing solutions either through rehab or remodeling of current housing or acquiring new housing to ensure safe, barrier-free living for Veterans with disabilities and the loved ones who care for them. Quality of life is important for severely wounded Veterans who have life changing injuries. Our area of operation is the High Country area of NC including Boone, Blowing Rock, Vilas, West Jefferson, Zionville, Sugar Grove, Seven Devils, Banner Elk, Linville, Beech Mountain, Valle Crucis, Todd and Newland North Carolina.
