Its that time again. We are less than 2 weeks away from the Gnarly Hills Enduro. Trails have shaped up nicely. As many of you know, we lost Ron Less late last year. This years race will be held as the Ron Less Memorial Race in honor of him. Schedule will be the same as years past, big bikes will run Saturday (1 Loop) and Sunday (2 Loops) and all minis will run Saturday afternoon. Please see attached flyer for complete details. If you live in IOWA and NOT an IERA member but planning to do the PRE-ENTRY you have 2 options-
1. Prior to pre-entry, purchase a year membership for the IERA ($35), then proceed to the pre-entry.
2 . You can pre-enter but at the sign-up table at race, you WILL HAVE TO either purchase an IERA single day pass ($15) or the full year before receiving your scoring packet.

2nd update: there will be a visitation time prior to the funeral service. Held from 930-1030.
Also for anyone bringing bike for the salute ride, we ask you try and be a little early to get them unloaded and staged prior to the start of the service. Thank you.
Update. Services will be held November 1st @ 1030 in Harlan, IA at Pauley Jones Funeral Home. Luncheon will follow at the C.G. Therkildsen Center. If you have one our Gnarly Hills Enduro shirts with Ron on it (Picture in the comments) or any other CIER shirts, feel free to wear it. If you do not have one of ours and are part of a club, wear your club shirts. We also are planning on riding our dirtbikes from the funeral home to the luncheon as a group. So if you would like to participate in that ride, we encourage you to bring your bike with and join. Any questions, feel free to shoot over a message.

Its with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Less on Monday, October 21st. Ron was the founding father of our motorcycle club as well as the IERA (Iowa Enduro Riders Association). His impact on this club and the motorcycle community will not be forgotten. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. Details on services are pending at this time. We will update when we know.

The weekend is here!.... yes we have had rain but the members have busted their butt's this week and got the trails cleaned up AGAIN. May be a biased opinion but it may be the best dirt we've had all year. Come and have a blast with us!

Only a week away. Trails have shaped up very nicely. Weather looks to be great, just a little on the warm side.
REMINDER: when traveling to the race, please arrive from the west due to steep gravel incline on the east side that will cause problems for the big campers and motorhomes. There will be arrows to follow from Dayton.
Huge shout out to our club members(and their families) who have spent countless hours and days prepping these trails.
Also big big thanks to our land owners for letting us on their properties to be able to put these awesome trails together.
