🏈 Help Us Welcome Mick Stangley, Our New Equipment Coordinator! 🏈

We are excited to introduce Mick Stangley as the Bonney Lake Jr. Panthers’ new Equipment Coordinator! Mick is stepping into a vital role that helps keep our athletes equipped, safe, and ready for a successful season. We are grateful for his willingness to volunteer his time to support our organization.

Mick and & his wife, Brittany have called the Seattle area home for 11 years after relocating from Illinois. He is working as an IT Operations manager for a philanthropic organization in Seattle. Their son, Jacob is on the 5/6 team and is in his 4th year with the Jr. Panthers organization, so this family knows the program well! Mick is looking forward to making sure the boys are set with safe functioning equipment for the upcoming season. 🏈

🏈 GEAR HANDOUT & JERSEY FITTINGS 🏈

⏰ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

✅ Pick ONE day that works best for your family.

Players will be fitted for:
🏈 Helmet
💪 Shoulder Pads
👕 Jersey

📢 Even if you are providing your own equipment, please make sure to attend so we can get your jersey fitted.

👕 All new Jr. Panthers players will need to be fitted for a jersey.

🔹 Returning players had the option during registration to keep their jersey from last season if it still fits, or pay for a new jersey if they have outgrown their previous one. If you paid for a new jersey, please make sure to attend gear fitting so we can get you properly fitted!

We can’t wait to see our returning Panthers and welcome all of our new Panther families!

This looks like a great opportunity for our athletes, parents, coaches, and community members to hear from some outstanding speakers and learn valuable skills that can help athletes succeed both on and off the field.

Leadership, mindset, communication, resilience, and personal growth are all important parts of the game!

🏫 Mountain View Middle School tomorrow evening!

Students, families, coaches, and community members are invited to attend the Student-Athlete Blueprint, a free evening focused on building strong mindsets, communication skills, leadership habits, and resilience for success both on and off the field. This engaging event will feature former MLB pitcher and Sumner High School alum Nick Hagadone, educator and author Brandon Bakke, and mental performance coach and Mountain View Middle School Assistant Principal Brett McDaniel.

✨️ When: 6:30 - 8 pm Monday, June 8
✨️ Where: Mountain View Middle School

Attendees are encouraged to bring school supply donations such as pencils, pens, notebooks, calculators, rulers, and backpacks to help support local students. Participants will also receive practical support materials and actionable strategies designed to empower student success. We hope to see you there!

📣 JR. PANTHERS BOARD OPENING — SECRETARY 📣

We are currently looking for applicants for our Secretary position for the upcoming season. This role is also part of our Executive Board and serves as a voting position within the organization.

Our Secretary plays an important role in helping keep the Jr. Panthers organization running smoothly through communication, meeting coordination, record keeping, and administrative support throughout the program.

We are looking for someone who is:

✔ Dependable
✔ A strong communicator
✔ Passionate about supporting our athletes and families
