Coach Beall welcomes back the professional and dedicated service of Mrs Judy.

Judy Bradshaw has been part of Holmes County Volleyball for more than 50 years — a true pillar of the program.
She played intramural volleyball at Troy University and helped Coach McFatter start volleyball at HCHS in 1991.

Mrs. Judy continues to serve faithfully, keeping the books and scoreboard with unmatched precision. A lifelong supporter of girls’ sports, she’s coached volleyball, softball, and basketball, and always makes sure the players have snacks and encouragement.

After 36 years of teaching, Judy returned to substitute in the ESE classroom, continuing her legacy of care. Her biggest supporter, her late husband Jimmy, remains close in spirit as she celebrates her children — Renee in Delaware and Brian and Jennifer in Dothan — and her beloved Lady Blue Devils family.

Welcome, Coach Beall!

Holmes County High School is proud to introduce Coach Steve Beall as the new Head Coach of the Lady Blue Devils Volleyball Program.

Coach Beall has served for the past two years as the American History teacher for the HCHS Juniors, while also contributing to the volleyball program as the volunteer assistant coach at the high school and middle school. He brings decades of volleyball experience as both a player and a coach, with a passion for developing athletes who compete with discipline, confidence, and heart.

A true servant leader, Coach Beall is a 38‑year U.S. Navy veteran, known for his integrity, mentorship, and commitment to building strong teams. His dedication to youth extends far beyond the court — he has volunteered with 4‑H, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts, and continues to invest in the families of Holmes County through community programs and leadership.

Above all, Coach Beall is a family man who believes in building a program rooted in character, teamwork, and love for the game. The future of Lady Blue Devils Volleyball is bright under his leadership.

HCHS does not supplement an assistant coach position. Coach Beall is in discussion with volunteers to support the Lady Blue Devils Volleyball Program as an assistant coach.
