🌴🦜 Fins Up to The Austin Texas Parrot Head Club 🦜🌴

Now this is what being a Parrot Head is all about.

While we all love the music, the friendships, and the island lifestyle, the real magic happens when those good times are turned into something that makes a difference. The Austin Texas Parrot Head Club recently presented a $5,000 donation to BIG Love Cancer Care, proving once again that Parrot Heads don't just party—we Party With a Purpose.

From Pirate's Ball to helping families facing childhood cancer, this is Jimmy Buffett's spirit in action: friends coming together, having fun, and leaving the world a little better than they found it.

A huge Fins Up to everyone involved for turning good vibes into great deeds. This is exactly why the Parrot Head family is so special.

"If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane." And if we couldn't give back, we'd miss the best part of the journey.

🏊‍♀️🦜💙 THIS is what "Party With a Purpose" is all about! 💙🦜🏊‍♂️

Back in February, the Upper Texas Coast Parrot Head Club donated nearly $800 from the proceeds of our Christmas Party to the Spindletop Swim Team right here in Mid County. Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters, those funds helped purchase brand-new fins for the entire team!

This is exactly why we do what we do. We gather with our phriends, enjoy great music, share some laughs, and raise money—but the best part is seeing those dollars stay right here in our local community, helping amazing organizations and young people thrive.

How cool is it that the swim team took the time to create a thank-you video for us? Seeing those smiling faces enjoying their new equipment reminds us that every raffle ticket, every donation, and every event truly makes a difference.

A very special thank you to UTCPHC member Donna Thompson, swim coach extraordinaire, along with Cody and the entire coaching staff for the incredible work y'all do for these kids each and every day. Your dedication, encouragement, and leadership are helping shape the next generation both in and out of the pool.
