2️⃣ Two inspiring entrepreneurs from our program present their business plans and financial statements (backed by 12 weeks of rigorous training). 📈
3️⃣ Your club asks questions, chooses one to sponsor, and provides a zero-interest micro-loan.
4️⃣ The entrepreneur pays it forward to their local Rotary Club in Africa, creating a self-sustaining cycle of opportunity! 🔄

Meet George Apenu Nhyansah, co-founder of Go Farms. A little over a year ago, George completed our intensive business training and pitched his vision for a chicken egg farm. With a seed grant facilitated through Entrapov and the Global Service Rotary eClub, he stepped into the "Shark Pond" and got to work. The results? Pure dedication in action:📈 From 300 to 700 hens — George nearly doubled his capacity by reinvesting and managing resources with absolute discipline. 🪙 Real Financial Discipline — He isn't just raising chickens; he’s living the daily record-keeping and budgeting best practices that turn micro-loans into sustainable legacies. 🥚 Local Impact — Crates of fresh eggs are moving out of his farm every morning, transforming a cycle of lack into a community legacy of work.

🌍 Turning "What If" into "What Is" Through Rotary Fellowship 🤝

We often talk about changing lives, but true impact happens when we build direct friendships and bridge the gap between business education and real-world capital.

In this video, Ben Davidson from the Pocatello Rotary Club introduces us to the Stelzer family (M'Liss and her husband, a local pediatrician from Pocatello, Idaho), alongside inspiring African entrepreneurs: William Antwi Boasiako ("Billy") from Ghana, owner of Billie's Jerseys, and Patrick Mulubwa Sondashi from Ndola, Zambia, founder of Pamulu Welding.

Through our Rotary Shark Pond initiative, these budding business owners have successfully completed a rigorous 12-week training curriculum, built functional business plans, and instituted strict daily financial record-keeping discipline. Thanks to the support and sponsorship of the Stelzer family acting as Rotary Fellows, they are receiving the crucial microfinance startup funds needed to scale their businesses, break cycles of poverty, and keep local youth away from negative community influences.

Meet Masiliso Maya Assere from Lusaka West, Zambia. Four years ago, she founded Happy Faces Chicken, a micro-poultry business built on pure grit and determination.

🛑 The Challenge
Masiliso lives in a thriving community of over 2,000 households, yet 75% of them lack electricity and clean water supply. Because neighbors can't freeze fresh food, they walk right to Masiliso’s poultry house to buy live, fresh chickens for their families.

But right now, Masiliso is facing a massive bottleneck: water supply. She is currently relying entirely on catching rainwater in buckets under her roof just to keep her chicks alive. When the dry season hits, she has to spend hours standing in lines at public boreholes and hauling heavy water back to her business.
