Thank you, Weiser Memorial Hospital, for sharing the incredible work you do every day in your community with our Federal and State partners. Today, the Federal Office of Rural Health Transformation and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, along with State Representative Judy Boyle and State Senator Brandon Shippy, toured the Weiser hospital and saw the many different ways Rural Health Transformation Program dollars can sustain Idaho’s rural hospitals for years to come.

Yesterday more than 20 hospital leaders from 17 hospitals around the state gathered in Boise for Idaho Hospital Day at the Capitol. Attendees met with 40 legislators from 25 districts, sat in on the House and Senate floor sessions, and discussed the importance of keeping healthcare affordable and accessible.

Thank you to all the legislators who took the time to meet with our group to hear our concerns.
